The Bowl-O-Ree was a fun game.  It is a Boy Scout Council fundraiser.  If you donate money to Council you get two free games of bowling with the other scouts.  If someone got a strike they were congratulated by their fellow scouts.  Some kids were sucked into the alley's video games after the bowling event.
