Jamel W. delivered to Juffureh Village, Gambia, Africa, a suitcase of clothes donated from the Troop 174 Africa Clothing Drive on Feb. 7 and Feb. 14, 2005.  The clothes were given to students shown dressed in their blue school uniforms in the first photo.  Juffureh was the birthplace of Kunta Kinte whose story was told in the book "Roots," by Alex Haley.

In the second photo Jamel is meeting with the town leader, who is dressed in purple.
